“So you want to know more about us? We do not have a long list of published books, conference speaking, nor fancy seminary names to tell you about. We are two normal people who love God, have a passion for His people and His ministry.” Jason Jeremy Henderson is a pastor, teacher and artist. He was born in Baltimore, MD, raised in Radcliff, Kentucky, and served as a Patriot Missile System Operator in the U.S. Army. While stationed in El Paso, TX, he fell in love with a beautiful girl, Yvette. They met at a Luis Palau rally at First Baptist Church. Jason was singing in the choir, while Yvette was in the audience with her pastor and his wife.
After their wedding in 1998, Jason and Yvette began a ministry for young married couples at Templo Cristiano Vencedores, where Yvette’s uncle is pastor. Prior to their marriage, Yvette was actively engaged in youth ministry and taught Children’s Sunday School. Jason was actively involved at Destiny Family Christian Center, formerly Christ Cathedral New Life Worship Center. He served as an altar worker, president of the Art Ministry, usher, youth peer leader, choir member, and Children’s Church teacher for the 6-8 year-olds.
An avid reader, Jason has been studying the Bible and ministry since 1995. He believes in searching out the original meanings of the text in Greek and Hebrew and applying it to today. Jason graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Communication. He attends Howard Payne University, taking continuing education classes in Christian Studies, while awaiting the start of their Masters of Divinity program.
